Yes. Athena is a popular choice for proms, graduation balls, and formal student events.

Can the venue be themed or decorated for proms?

Absolutely. Athena can be styled to suit classic, modern, or fully themed prom concepts. We welcome external decorators and prop suppliers and are happy for them to set up within the venue.

Is there space for photo moments and red-carpet arrivals?

Yes. Our foyer and entrance areas are ideal for photo opportunities and grand arrivals.

Can music, DJs, and live entertainment be arranged?

Yes. Athena welcomes DJs, live performers, and curated entertainment. You are welcome to bring your own band or DJ - please let us know in advance if they have any specific requirements. We also provide three backstage dressing rooms for hosts and performers to use and enjoy.

Is security provided for student events?

Security arrangements can be organised to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Are food and non-alcoholic beverage options available?

Yes. Catering packages can be tailored to suit student events.

Can we host award presentations during proms?

Yes. Staging and AV support award segments or speeches during the event.

Is the venue accessible and easy for group arrivals?

Yes. Athena accommodates group arrivals, coaches, and organised guest entry.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes, you can bring your own bottles, with a corkage fee of £10 per bottle.

When can we set up?

There is ample time available during the day to set up for an evening event. Please speak with our team in advance to discuss preferred timings or any specific requirements or concerns.
